Oroos Arshi is a doctoral candidate at the University of Cagliari, Italy, working under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network. She is part of the MSCA project FITNESS (For Active Distribution Networks of Smart Grids). She earned her Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India, in 2024. Her doctoral research centres on Advanced Communication Protocols for Active Distribution Networks, with a focus on enhancing the security and reliability of communication in distributed environments. Her work contributes to the development of more robust communication frameworks for modern networked systems. Her research interests include communication protocols, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
