Sumedha is an MSCN Doctoral Network Researcher/ research assistant currently pursuing her PhD at Imperial College London. She has completed her Master of Technology and Bachelor of Technology degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Her research topic within the FITNESS project is Edge Computing-assisted operational security in distribution networks. The project aims to create a simulation environment to assess vulnerabilities to cyberattacks within distribution networks and to demonstrate the effectiveness of edge-computing-based operational security tools in thwarting cyber threats. Her main research interests include cybersecurity, cyber-physical systems, and power system stability.
