Haseeb Shams is a Marie Curie Doctoral Candidate (DC2) working on “New Mathematical Tools for the Optimal Management of Virtual Power Plants” at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Industrial, Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. He received his master’s degree in electrical engineering from FAST – National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2019. He gained more than five years of teaching experience as a Lab Engineer and Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Technology at Riphah International University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. His research interests include Electrical Power Systems, Renewable Energy Systems, Energy Management and Virtual Power Plants.
