Mohamad Amin Gharibi is a PhD student at Aalto University in Finland. He received his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran. His research focuses on the quantification of energy flexibility, with particular attention to distributed energy resources, hydrogen systems, and the interactions between transmission and distribution networks. His work combines optimization techniques and data-driven approaches to analyze how flexibility can be accessed and utilized within distribution systems. His main research interests include power system optimization, renewable energy integration, energy storage, and the electrification of transportation systems.
